Wool Felt

We stock a range of specialist wool felts. At any one time we will be able to offer over 50 different felts by density, colour or thickness.

We stock a range of densities from 0.13g/cm³ (for orthopaedic felts) to 0.55g/cm³ (used as components by steam railway suppliers). Our key industrial and engineering felts are 0.25g/cm³ and 0.4g/cm³.

Thicknesses start at 1.5mm for biological crop protection felts up to 25mm for felt plugs.

Natural felts are the most numerous for industrial and other applications but increasingly we offer black and grey felts at 0.21g/cm³ for where the visual appearance is important.

Most of the felts we offer are 80% wool but we do offer luxury felts of 100% high grade wool as well as budget offerings at 70% lower grade wools (where available per the required standard). As a compliment to our luxury wool felt range we offer a range of polyester felts from 4mm to 9mm; ideal for a customer who quickly needs a small quantity of this highly versatile non woven.

We also supply MOD felts, embroidery felts, polishing felts, packaging felts, brake felts for steel slitting lines, felts for furnishings and mattreses, and a sewing service.
